Annual Giving Fund
Saint Joseph Catholic School will celebrate 60 years of excellence in education this September, '09. It's a time to celebrate the goals and traditions set by Fr. Harry F. Clark, our first resident pastor, the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as well as the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary who devoted their lives providing for the educational and spiritual needs of our children over these many years.
It's a time to celebrate that:
- students' test scores rank nationally around the 90th percentile.
- our teaching staff continues to enhance their abilities with continuing education.
- the combined faculty have over 330 years of teaching experience.
- nearly half of our teachers hold a master's degree or higher.
- today we maintain a teacher student ratio of 1:13.
It's time to celebrate that our school has been commended for "a rigorous well-rounded curriculum, a highly qualified, experienced, and collegial staff, outstanding leadership, a community of positive caring students who respect and value each other, and parents who are involved in all aspects of the school."
The Annual Giving Fund helps bridge the gap between the revenue generated by tuition and the actual operating expenses we incur. Each single gift we receive remains at Saint Joseph Catholic School for the direct needs of our students, teachers, and staff. Now that's something to celebrate. This year our goal is $85,000.
We want to celebrate 100% participation of all of our families in the campaign this year. We're asking our entire community to come together to support this appeal.
Join us as we begin a yearlong celebration of "Excellence in Education" at Saint Joseph Catholic School by making a donation to the Annual Giving Campaign.
Sincerely,
Donavan Yarnall, Ed.S.
