STREAM

STREAM

WE DID IT!!!!!!!! We received the STEM Certification from Cognia! We are officially a STEM school.

We received multiple STREAM-based grants this year, and we can’t wait to continue to improve our program in the coming years.

At St. Joseph Catholic Parish School, students participate in various STREAM Activities to enhance their learning and facilitate their creative abilities. STREAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. These STREAM activities help students develop problem-solving skills that correlate with their core classes in a more hands-on approach. Examples of STREAM Activities include, but are not limited to, solving various challenges, creating computer programs, designing models of historical structures, gardening, etc. SJS has a campus STREAM Lab, which provides opportunities to expose all students to the engineering design process.

STREAM Knight

Each year, SJS has a STREAM Knight to involve students and their families in the same STREAM activities that students are exposed to daily at school! Teachers and our STREAM Committee plan a fun night to engage families with STREAM activities and the design process!
